Arrived safetly

So... now we are here. It has been a busy one and a half week. First 1- 2 days were pretty peaceful. Suus working and Marc checking out the neighbour hood. Then we started looking at houses, arranging bank accounts in switzerland and france, finding the bike road to work, knowing were to do grocery and last but not least testing the wine and cheese in the neighbourhood.

After doing the last a few evenings we realized that we are going to be in trouble unless we find a sportsclub as soon as possible so we went looking. Date to start is set to as soon Marc returns from Sweden which means that Suus can relax for another two weeks with only biking back and forward from work which is about 3 km per day.... So no I'm not really sweatting...

Location is great. Nature is perfect for hiking and biking. The hills are as in south limburg or belgium. Long and sometimes steep so a bike with gears is to recommend. I'm afraid my Ooma fits will not come much to use...unless it is between the house and the supermarket... and maybe not even then.

Last sunday we drove to Chamonix. It takes about 45 minutest from Geneve "door to door". Chamonix is nice and has a lot of nice stores, restaurant but since the sloaps is high up on the other side you can really check whether you will survive them or not.
